How to prepare for service

A few quick steps help our crew get right to work. Two days before your service, we’ll also send these instructions by email or text.

How to prepare for window cleaning

Fully raise blinds on windows, panes and doors (for interior cleaning only).
Remove small objects and breakables, like figurines, pictures, plants and other decorations, from window sills, tables and other furniture in front of windows (for interior cleaning only).
Remove any objects attached to or in front of the glass, like stained glass, suction cups or paper.

Please note: If your service is exterior-only window cleaning and screen cleaning is not included, please remove your screens in advance. If Brightview has to enter your home or business to remove and reinstall screens, $5 per screen is added to the service cost.

How to prepare for pressure washing

Our service includes moving or covering large items, such as furniture or grills.
Before service, move items you don’t want to get wet or damaged, like cushions, carpets and rugs, decorations and potted plants.
Move vehicles away from any areas to be cleaned.
Unlock any gates and screened porches so we can reach every area to be cleaned.

Please note: A $50 fee is added to the service cost if Brightview has to move the smaller items listed above.
